Cart To Link lets you turn an Amazon shopping cart into a shareable link. Create links with the Safari extension on iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or with the Chrome extension on desktop. Anyone with the link can review the products and choose which items to add to their own Amazon cart.

When you share a cart, we may include affiliate links to support our service. This means we earn a small commission if someone makes a purchase through the shared link. Prices remain the same for you and the recipient - there's no additional cost.

How do I install the extension?
iPhone and iPad: Get Cart to Link from the App Store. Open the app and follow its guide to enable the extension in Safari. Allow access to the Amazon marketplace you use and to carttolink.com.
Mac Safari: Get Cart to Link from the Mac App Store, then enable its Safari extension in Safari settings.
Desktop Chrome: Add Cart To Link from the Chrome Web Store.
Mac Safari: Get Cart to Link from the Mac App Store, then enable its Safari extension in Safari settings.
Desktop Chrome: Add Cart To Link from the Chrome Web Store.
Do I need to create an account?
No Cart To Link account is needed. Enable the extension, open a supported Amazon cart in Safari or Chrome, and use Cart To Link to create a shareable link.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
Yes. Install the app on your Apple devices or the extension in desktop Chrome. Shared links open in a browser on other devices, and recipients do not need the extension to view them.
What permissions does the extension need?
In Safari, allow access to the Amazon marketplace you use so the extension can read your cart, and to carttolink.com so it can create a short link. Each Amazon country site may need its own permission. The extension does not need your Amazon password or payment details. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Troubleshooting
The extension button doesn't appear
Try these steps:
- Refresh the Amazon page
- Check that the extension is enabled in Safari Extensions settings or Chrome extensions
- Make sure you're on a supported website
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Restart your browser
Shared cart shows wrong prices
Prices are captured at the time of sharing and may change. The shared cart shows a disclaimer with the capture time. Recipients always see current prices when they visit the actual product pages.
Some products don't appear in shared cart
This can happen with:
- Out-of-stock items
- Region-restricted products
- Items with access limitations
- Digital products (sometimes)
Error: "Failed to extract cart data"
This usually means:
- Your cart is empty
- The website layout has changed
- You're not logged into Amazon
- There's a temporary connectivity issue

What data do you collect?
When you create a link, we store the cart details needed to display it, including product names, prices, quantities, and URLs. If you submit a Q&A question, an optional name or email address is stored privately for review and follow-up. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How long are shared links stored?
Shared links currently have no fixed automatic expiration date. They remain available until deleted, deactivated, or no longer needed to provide the service. Anyone with the URL can view the shared products. You can contact us to request removal; include the short link or code.
Can others see my personal information?
Shared cart pages contain product information such as names, prices, images, and links, but do not include your Amazon password, payment details, or shipping address. Anyone with a shared URL can view the products, so avoid sharing a cart if the products themselves are sensitive.

How do I share my Amazon cart?

Can I share Amazon cart from different regions?
Yes. Cart To Link supports Amazon marketplaces including the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, India, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil. It detects the marketplace and creates a region-appropriate Amazon cart link. Product availability can differ by country.
Can I edit a shared cart link?
You cannot change the products stored in an existing link. On the shared cart page, you can select products and adjust quantities to create a new link. You can also change your Amazon cart and generate a new link with the extension. The original link remains available until it is deleted or deactivated.
Is my cart data secure?
Yes, your cart data is secure! Cart To Link uses industry-standard security measures:

How many items can I share in one cart?
Cart To Link can handle carts with any number of items. There's no strict limit on the number of products you can include in a shared cart. Whether you have 5 items or 50 items, the extension will generate a shareable link with all products included. Large carts may take a few extra seconds to process, but all items will be included in the generated link.
Can recipients modify my shared cart?
Recipients cannot modify your original Amazon cart. However, they can:
- View all products and prices
- Add all items to their own Amazon cart with one click
- Add individual items to their cart
- Remove items from their own cart (not yours)
